I speak to groups about health, wealth, and wisdom: the three pillars of a good life, and what the evidence actually says about each. Since 2018 I have taught this material to thousands of people.
I teach every year at BYU Education Week. I am a physician and a professor at the University of Utah, and I speak at national medical conferences including RSNA, ACR, and SIIM.
I am a practicing physician, so I take a small number of engagements a year.
Any of it can be delivered as a single talk or built into a longer series.
The body you live in: what to eat, how to move, why sleep is the foundation the rest rests on, and what happens when systems begin to fail.
Money as freedom rather than score: getting out of debt, buying back your own time, and being the boss of your finances.
Most of life is a judgment call: how to think clearly, where to spend your attention, how to keep learning, and how to meet what goes wrong.
